If there is anything I am thankful for this Thanksgiving, it is a weak and depleted AFC North division. A division that was the most dominant in the NFL the past two seasons has since fallen off into teams we can barely recognize. Luckily for Steeler fans everywhere, the Steelers still have a pretty good shot at playoffs, even after this unusual four game losing streak.

Other good news for Steeler fans, is that the rest of the schedule looks favorable (that is if the Steelers can get it together). Outside of the four division games, the Steelers will face the New York Giants, the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts... all beatable teams
IF the Steelers play up to their potential. We have seen how the Steelers play down to crappy teams year after year...I wouldn't be surprised if we even gave the Cleveland Browns their first win of the season.
All in all, its very possible for the Steelers to end the season 7-0 and give them a high seed in the AFC division. Even finishing 6-1, or 5-2 can still give the Steelers a playoff opportunity. I will say, being only 42 seconds away from beating the best record team in the NFL gave me some hope, as I hope it did to you as well. This is just the beginning.
I'm glad to see someone still has faith in the Steelers. Hopefully we can bounce back with a win against Cleveland this week.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the Steelers can get there act together and start winning again.
ReplyDeleteLooking at our upcoming games, i'd say the Steelers still have a VERY good chance when it comes down to the playoff run.
ReplyDeletei'm pretty confident that we will turn things around for the rest of the season.
