The 99% completion rate on extra point kicks in 2015, made extra point attempts the most predictable play in all of sports. With the new rules this season making the extra point kick to a 33 yard attempt, two point conversions have been on the rise, forcing teams to score a touchdown instead of a field goal in close scoring games. This was the case in Pittsburgh on Sunday, but Ezekiel Elliot made the go-ahead touchdown look easy.
Many are criticizing Tomlin's decision for the two point tries, however Ben made it clear that the Steelers wanted to go for two after every touchdown. The two point tries keep the game interesting, and had the Steelers had those 8 extra points things would be a lot different now. So what do you think? With gambling comes consequences... and the Mike Tomlin and the Steelers definitley faced the consequences this week. Do you agree with Tomlin's mentality? Or should we leave it to Boswell for the extra point every time?
